FANG Kicks Off New Year With Donation
By Marie Gilmore
FishHawk Area
Networking Group, a group of more than 100 FishHawk Ranch residents and business
owners wanted to do something to give back to the community. So, the group
‘passed the hat’ at one of its bi-monthly networking sessions and charged member
and Usborne Books representative, Christine Ans, with finding a worthy school to
accept $600 worth of book donations.
The group chose
Gibsonton Elementary School to receive the books. “We appreciate the donation,”
said Gibsonton principal Donna Marra. “These books will be well received by our
students.”
Ans, also a local
Girl Scout Leader, is proud of her networking group and looks forward to more
fundraisers throughout the year.
